About Groulpi

More life
outside the house.

People who live in group homes and adult care homes should get to the game, the library and the coffee shop as easily as they get to the doctor. That’s the whole mission.

Mission

Discovery was never the hard part

There are plenty of events. What’s missing is a person to go with, a ride, and someone with time to plan it and write it up. Homes run on thin margins, and most rate models have no line for outings.

So Groulpi brings the people and the logistics. Trained Guides go with small Crews. Scout, our AI planner, handles planning, staffing, rides and notes. Health plans get the data to show it’s working.

And every Explorer gets to choose: where to go, who with, or not to go at all.

Why North Carolina first

The pieces are already here

A way to pay

Community Networking

NC Innovations already funds support to take part in community life (H2015).

A reason to measure

Tailored Plans

Alliance, Trillium and Vaya Partners face new HCBS community-inclusion measures.

Homes to serve

Group homes and adult care homes

Licensed homes across the state, each with residents who want more time out in their community.

A clear gap

Needed trips vs fun ones

Getting to appointments mostly works. Getting to the game, the market or a friend’s place is much harder.

How we work

Three rules we keep

01

Adults are adults

Residents have their own tastes and plans. We call them Explorers, and we ask them first.

02

Plain words, real rules

Short sentences for Explorers. Real codes and rules for providers. No hype.

03

No promises we can’t keep

We’re in a pilot. When something is planned or still being confirmed, we say so.
