Pilot opening in North Carolina

Outings, handled.

Groulpi gets people who live in group homes and adult care homes out into their community. We plan the outing, send a trained Guide, book the ride and write the note. The house keeps its own staff.

The problem

Getting to the doctor is covered. Getting to the game isn’t.

Group homes run on thin margins and short staff. Taking two people out can leave the house short. So often the whole house goes, or nobody goes.

Short staff

Staff can’t leave the house

Two people want to go out and two staff are on shift. Someone has to stay home with everyone else, so the outing waits.

Rides

Vans are hard to come by

Rides to the doctor get booked. Rides to the ballgame, the library or a friend’s place often don’t.

Choice

Residents want more say

People want to pick where they go and who they go with. Not just tag along when the whole house heads out.

How it works

Four steps.
You approve one.

Scout, our AI planner, does the legwork. A person on your team says yes. A trained Guide does the rest.

Plan

Scout suggests outings from what each person likes, what’s nearby and what’s free or cheap. You can also just ask.

SCOUT
01/04

Crew

People are matched by interest into small Crews of 2–4 Explorers. Not the whole house. Anyone can say no.

2–4 + 1 GUIDE
02/04

Guide + ride

A trained Groulpi Guide meets the Crew. Scout books the ride: the house van, paratransit or a partner driver.

HOUSE STAFF STAY
03/04

The note writes itself

After the outing, Scout drafts a service note for each person, tied to their plan goals. Staff review and sign.

Meet Scout

Ask in plain words. Get a plan.

Scout is the AI planner inside Groulpi Homebase. It checks interests, staffing, rides and budgets, then hands you a plan to approve with a tap.

  • Matches people by interest, not by who’s left in the house
  • Covers the outing with a Guide, so your staffing ratio holds
  • Books the ride and tracks it
  • Drafts each person’s service note afterward

Questions

The short answers

Not yet. We’re opening a small pilot in North Carolina with a few homes. Homebase and the apps are in development. Join the pilot if you want to be part of it.

In NC, our plan is to bill a Guide’s time as NC Innovations Community Networking (H2015) through the person’s Tailored Plan. That keeps it separate from the home’s per diem. We’re confirming the details with each plan during the pilot. How it works for providers.

No. That’s the point. The Guide goes with the Crew. Your staff stay with the people who stay home.

No. Scout suggests and drafts. A person on your team approves every outing and signs every note. And every Explorer can say no.
